Control Now (CN) is a regulatory technology business established in 2017 to address investment firms’ requirements to submit complete and accurate transaction reports for EMIR and MIFIR (ESMA Article 15(3), RTS 22). Transaction Reports provide information to regulators which are used to protect consumers and monitor the risk of market contagion.

Control Now is disrupting the current market for Transaction Reporting assurance and consultancy with fully automated software delivered as a SAAS solution.

Role Summary

The Service Delivery Manager will primarily be responsible for the delivery of CN services. In addition, the Service Delivery Manager will work on improving CN products and supporting the organisation with detailed technical / compliance analysis.

The work will be mainly project-based, with set deliverables which the candidate can manage as they see fit. They will be free to work remotely and to a schedule set by them and agreed upon by Control Now management.

Control Now (CN) are looking for a Delivery Manager to support the TR Completeness Product Owner in maintaining CN’s market-leading Transaction Reporting Completeness reconciliation solutions.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for supporting our clients through the onboarding process after the sale and before BAU operations. This is also a vital role in supporting the Product Owner in delivering the product strategy.

 

The Service Delivery Manager’s tasks will include;

• Project Initiation Analysis: Manage discussion around business, systems and compliance requirements.
• Client Project Management: Concisely summarise client requirements, plan delivery and manage to completion.
• Configuration Build: Utilize CN proprietary software to configure data transformations, log actions and document decisions.
• UAT: Manage testing on behalf of clients to ensure users are satisfied with the solution and are happy to go live.
• Development Request Process: Identify feature improvements, perform business analysis and document technical specifications.
• Sales support: Perform product demos and client workshops.
• Client Support (L3): Support clients with technical requests in the BAU phase.

 

Person Specification

• Data Analysis: Strong data manipulation, interpretation and presentation skills. Should be proficient in modelling large data sets and systems with Microsoft Excel, Visio and SQL queries (or similar).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with at least one of the following reporting regimes; MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, MAS, ASIC or IIROC.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with financial markets, financial instruments, derivatives trading, trading lifecycle and back office processes.
• Project Management: Client-facing experience and proven ability to manage software implementation projects, including client training and demonstrations.
• Process Driven: Control Now focus on delivering streamlined and highly scalable services. The candidate must be well-organised and focused on constant process improvement.
• Product Specification: Strong business analysis (BA) and technical specification skills. Should be able to interpret financial regulatory requirements and translate/communicate them in concise and technical language. The candidate must be patient and willing to perform testing functions effectively to reduce rework. Should be comfortable with Atlassian Jira, and Atlassian Confluence.
