Details On The Changes Of The Critical Data Element (CDE) Technical Guidance

The Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC) published an update to the Critical Data Element (CDE) Technical Guidance from v2 to v3 in September 2023.

The CDE is a guide for the harmonisation of reporting requirements of OTC derivative data elements globally. It is used by regulators to align reporting requirements across jurisdictions. There is no direct action to reporting firms, however these changes may be included in future regulatory reporting requirements.
